In hopes of capturing footage of a wolverine, biologists hung a deer carcass from a tree and set up a camera trap at the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. The wolverine looks like a bear but it’s actually a part of the weasel family. It's an opportunistic eater, feeding off the dead carcasses of big animals like deer and elk. It’s also a ferocious predator. Curiosity helps wolverines survive in a bleak and harsh landscape. Food is so scarce they check everything out, including the camera trap set up by scientists. And just like that, the wolverine makes like a snowball, and rolls off into the woods.
