She was rescued from an industrialized hog farm in South Africa and brought to Farm Sanctuary SA. She was introduced to painting with positive-reinforcement training. Pigcasso’s affinity for the fine arts begs the question, “can animals be truly creative or are they just doing art for food rewards?” Experts say animals do show signs of creativity, and painting may provide cognitive stimulation.
