Winsol weighed three pounds at birth, but he could grow to be 145 pounds as an adult. Aardvarks are notoriously clumsy. For this reason, the zoo is making sure Winsol’s mother doesn’t roll or step on him. Winsol is the first healthy aardvark baby to be born at the Cincinnati Zoo since 1994. He is gaining weight quickly and his ears are already perking up. Zoo staff say he started walking sooner than the average aardvark. He’s quite the little personality.
