These gentle horses have been trained to work with special-needs kids — and they're helping them become so much more confident| Wendy Mattes founded Jasper Ridge Farm in 2009 after a little girl she was giving horseback riding lessons to developed a brain tumor. When this girl was no longer physically able to travel, Wendy brought a miniature horse to her home.
